Military Industial Complex: The Carlyle Group

The military-industrial complex is generally defined as a "coalition consisting of the military and industrialists who profit by manufacturing arms and selling them to the government." Take a look at the Carlyle Group. The Carlyle >Group is the model example of the nearly seamless connection between the Bush administration, self-enrichment and companies who receive big government defense contracts. The Carlyle “consultants” reads like a who’s who guide to government officials of the 1980s, starting with former president George Bush and George Bush Sr., Colin Powell, former secretary of state James Baker, former defense secretary Frank Carlucci, Donald Rumsfeld, George Soros, Henry Kissinger, the Bin Laden family, amongst many others.

Isn't this slightly reminiscent of what occurred during World War II? The Standard Oil corporation supplied the oil for both the German and Japanese war machines as well as the special blends of gasoline used in their airplanes all the way through the Standard Oil also has close links to the infamous chemical company I.G. Farbon who produced the Zyklon B used in the gas chambers . The relative;">banking corporation J.P. Morgan, which is closely tied to the Rockefeller's Standard Oil company, also supplied and smuggled money to the Nazis. Ford and General Motors supplied the Nazi war machine with various products. General Motors even had a factory operating in Germany until it was destroyed by American bombers. The company later sued the U.S. Government and American tax money was used to pay back a company who was supplying the enemy. Jim Marrs research) World War II and the was against terrorism is all about the making of money for those who will profit.

This video discusses the structure of the Carlyle Group and explains its history of abuses.
