SyNAPSE: Is it for Good or Evil?

Do you recall the supercomputer named HAL from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey? Well, you're about to discover a computer system that surpasses the HAL system. It's pretty fascinating, especially since Hollywood's prototype was demonstrated in 1968, and that computer was just a figment of someone's imagination.

HAL was the artificial intelligence that controlled the systems of a spacecraft, and interacted with the ship's  crew. HAL was capable of speaking, speech recognition, facial recognition, natural language processing, lip reading, art appreciation, interpreting and reproducing emotional behaviors, reasoning, and playing chess. It had no distinct physical form, but he was represented as a red television-camera eye located on equipment panels throughout the ship.[1][2]

An early representation of the Illuminati's watchful eye.

The following video is an example of HAL's abilities.

What seems stranger than fiction, researchers at IBM have been developing a cognitive computing project called SyNAPSE, another name for Systems of Neuromorphic Adaptive Plastic Scalable Electronics. By reproducing the structure and architecture of the brain, the SyNAPSE project models computing system emulates the brain's computing efficiency, size and power usage without being programmed.[3]

SyNAPSE, in the background, is a backronym.

IBM is combining principles from nanoscience, neuroscience and supercomputing as part of a multi-year cognitive computing initiative. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded approximately US$21 million in new funding for phase 2 of the SyNAPSE project. For this project, a world-class team has been assembled, consisting of IBM researchers and collaborators from Columbia University, Cornell University, University of California, Merced; and University of Wisconsin-Madison.[3]

including Wicca, and Satanism. It symbolizes the unholy Luciferian trinity.

Without letting onto what the purpose of this technology will be used for, its creator will explain how it works.

Analysts warn that the creation of a greater-than-human super-intelligence through technological means could have consequences that cannot be predicted or understood.[4] It is important to note that the SyNAPSE will become “aware” on or about  21 December 2012, which ironically coincides with the global awakening events that has been hyped up for this date. When we awaken on the 21st, the world could be taken over by computers, or will it?

A Closer Look
On the DARPA website, the usage of the SyNAPSE technology is briefly explained, in technical lingo. This phrase may narrow down what they plan to use it for.
"In support of these hardware developments, SyNAPSE seeks to develop increasingly capable architecture and design tools, very large-scale computer simulations of the neuromorphic electronic systems to inform the designers and validate hardware prior to fabrication, and virtual environments for training and testing simulated and hardware neuromorphic systems."
What is neuromorphic engineering? Wikipedia describes it as a "new interdisciplinary discipline that takes inspiration from biology, physics, mathematics, computer science and engineering to design artificial neural systems, such as vision systems, head-eye systems, auditory processors, and autonomous robots, whose physical architecture and design principles are based on those of biological nervous systems."

Considering how far robotics has come over the past 20 years, it could possibly be a supercomputer brain for one of thier human-like robots, or an advancement in transhumansim. Sort of like the Bionic Man.

What ever it is, hopefully it doesn't turn into another computer gone awry.

Robots: Will they fall into the wrong hands?

In this segment of "What's the Next Big Thing?" - we get to take a peek at how advanced robots have gotten. This human-like robot can understand human feelings, carry on conversations, and even make jokes. Philip replies to the PBS Interviewer Chad Cohen, and gets some freaky replies.

The creators of these creatures are considered as forward thinkers. Many of these types of robots are being developed in Silicon Valley, which are all part of Transhumanist technology. They are being marketed as a method of sustainability - a term of the NWO that attempts to break through the ethical problems with developing this type of technology.

In Korea, there are armed robots being deployed to the demilitarized zone - designed to take out the approaching enemy.

Three of these robotic creatures are being used as security guards in Korean prisons.

And again in South Korea, small robotic creatures will be used in the classroom in 2013.

This robotic warrior was being used in Iraq.

Based on a 2009 article from Brookings Institute, the #1 think tank in the world, there were plans for a new division in 2010 to put a robot combat in space. "A small satellite, carrying humanoid robots will be blasted into the heavens. "Once safely in orbit, the satellite will release its robotic passengers, who will proceed to fight each other in the vacuum of space."[1]

In August 2011, Robonaut 2 was the first humanoid robot ever to fly in space and was built by NASA as part of a joint project with car manufacturer General Motors. The goal is to build a robot helper suitable to assist humans in complex tasks, be they in space or on Earth.

All of this will be used for humankind, and robotic war - some for good and some for evil.

2045: When Man Become Immortal

Technologist Raymond Kurzweil believes that we're approaching a moment when computers will become more intelligent than humans. When that happens, humanity will be completely and irreversibly transformed. We could become a society of super-intelligent immortal cyborgs. He believes that this moment is imminent, and the end of human civilization, as we know it, will occur within the next 35 years. (Read full article)

Pope Names Protestant to Head Pontifical Academy of Sciences

Pope Benedict XVI named Nobel laureate Werner Arber, a Protestant, to head the Vatican’s scientific academy, the first time a non-Catholic is heading the centuries-old body.

The 81-year old Swiss microbiologist and geneticist will succeed the late Italian Nicola Cabibbo, to lead the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. The nomination of a non-Catholic head is the first in the history of the academy founded in 1603.

Werner Arber's discovery of an enzyme that could cleave long strands of DNA led to a revolution in genetics research, providing the foundation that led to techniques to separate and reassemble basic genetic material. Gene splicing, as it was called, proved invaluable for DNA sequencing and gene mapping, which focuses on genetic organization. The most controversial outcome of this research, however, was the eventual manipulation of DNA structures by geneticists, first in test tubes and then in vivo, or within a living organism.[1] These discoveries, in turn, inspired Paul Berg, also known as father of genetic engineering, resulted in the development of a new technology, which gave birth to biotechnology. [2]

Dr. Arber has had a hand in genetically modified foods that are being produced today. He believes that genetically modified crops could be the answer to the world's food shortage, under the false premice that there is a  rapid growth of human population. He said genetically engineered crops would not only be able to meet increasing food consumption and help reduce hunger in the world, but could also provide the nutrients much needed by both humans and animals.[3]

But there is a flaw in this plan. Although GMOs are accepted by the group who are planning the future, there is definitely a serious down-side in their use. By using GMOs, they can change the makeup of animals, thus creating a slippery slope resulting in the cloning of people, or other similar prospects. And, making plants and animals that are resistant to bacteria can cause bacteria to become stronger and harder to kill. Making plants herbicide resistant can lead to weeds that are herbicide resistant, as well.

The Vatican has never taken a formal position supporting or opposing the use of genetically modified foods. There is a group within the US government who believe that pressing the Vatican for its blessing will gain the approval of a wide segment of the population in Europe, and the developing world.[4][5]

So, it is interesting that this particular individual was appointed to such a prestigious position. Has Dr. Arber been positioned to provide the science the Pope needs to accept the use of genetically modified foods, thus creating the slippery slope which will result in manipulating the DNA of organisms to forge new life forms? I'd say that his appointment is all about the approval of GMOs and transhumanism. Let's see what happens.

This is a documentary about the coming Technological Apocalypse involving Transhumanism, Nano-Technology, and Artificial Intelligence. Science is pushing the limits, but how far will God permit them to go?

"...the transhumanist has the misdirected hope that further developments and advances of technology will eventually allow humans to free themselves from the present limits of human existence, allowing them to enhance human ability and ultimately become "posthuman." [1]
If these people had the hope of Jesus Christ, they would not be seeking eternal life on earth.

White House: Science of man-made life can proceed

(Breitbart) The White House on Thursday said the controversial field of synthetic biology, or manipulating the DNA of organisms to forge new life forms, poses limited risks and should be allowed to proceed.

An expert panel convened by President Barack Obama advised vigilance and self-regulation as scientists seeks ways to create new organisms that could spark useful innovations in clean energy, pollution control and medicine.

The Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues "concluded that synthetic biology is capable of significant but limited achievements posing limited risks," it said in its first report.

"Future developments may raise further objections, but the Commission found no reason to endorse additional federal regulations or a moratorium on work in this field at this time."

The panel was created by Obama last year. Its first order of business was to consider the issue of synthetic biology after the J. Craig Venter Institute announced in May it had developed the first self-replicating bacteria cell controlled by a synthetic genome. (Read more)

Jeremy Rifkin: Engineering a Second Genesis

Australian artist Patricia Piccinini's concept of what human-animal hybrids
might look like, are provocative creatures which are part of a sculpture entitled
The Young Family.
"What the public has not yet grasped is that the new genetic technologies allow us to combine genetic material across natural boundaries, turning all of life into manipulable chemical materials. This radical new form of biological manipulation changes both our concept of nature and our relationship to it. We begin to view life from the perspective of a chemist. The species or the organism no longer commands our respect or attention. Our interest now focuses increasingly on the thousands of strands of genetic information that establish blueprints for living things.

With this new found ability to manipulate the very blueprint of living organisms, we assume a new role in the natural scheme of things. For the first time in history we become the architects of life itself. We become the creator and designer. We begin to reprogram the genetic codes of living things to suit our own cultural and economic needs. We take on the task of creating a second genesis, this time a synthetic one geared to the requisites of efficiency and productivity...

With our new power to manipulate the genetic code of life, we open up a new vista of virtually unlimited possibilities. We are in the early dawn hours of a new epoch in history, one in which we become the sovereigns over our own biological destiny. Though reluctant to predict a timetable for the conversion of our species from alchemist to algenist, those involved in the biological sciences are confident that they have at last opened the door onto a new horizon, one in which the biology of the planet will be remodeled, this time in our own image. Our generation, they say, stands at the crossroads of this new journey, one whose final consequences won't be fully grasped for centuries to come."   Jeremy Rifkin, Declaration of a Heretic, 1985
Although futurist Jeremy Rifkin is a radical environmentalist, he opposes genetic engineering. He argues that the technology represents a grave danger, both environmentally and philosophically. He fears that society, inspired by science, will take a diminished view of human life as no more than a few strands of DNA. "This is a new technology that goes to the heart of our values," he says. "The end result could very well be a brave new world, very damaging to our human spirit." Says Andrew Kimbrell, an attorney for Rifkin's foundation: "Everything that's living has a meaning and is owed reverence and care. There must be a balance between efficiency and empathy. We see ourselves as helping to provide that balance." [1]

Research That Has Been Revealed
In 1984, Cambridge scientists combined sheep and goat embryos and produced six animals, one of which was a true sheep-goat chimera, known as a Geep, which has both sheep and goat cells in different parts of its body. [2 In 2008, after years of experiments and tens of millions of dollars, scientists have finally created a sheep that thinks and acts like a goat.[3][4] Lisa, the geep, is seen here with her mother.

Transhumanism: Tom Horn

(YouTube link) (Part 2   3   4   5   6    7

Transhumanism is an international intellectual and cultural movement supporting the use of science and technology to improve human mental and physical characteristics and capacities. The movement regards aspects of the human condition, such as disability, suffering, disease, aging, and involuntary death as unnecessary and undesirable. Transhumanists look to biotechnologies and other emerging technologies for these purposes. Dangers, as well as benefits, are also of concern to the transhumanist movement. It upgrades existing organisms and the design of wholly new ones with the intent of 'perfecting' their performance", and, more specifically, attempts to pursue transhumanist goals by way of genetically modifying human embryos in order to create "designer babies." [1]

In this video, Tom Horn discusses transhumanism, creating immortals, genetically modified foods, cloned meat products, using human genes in animals for the purpose of finding treatment, defending ourselves from transhuman weaponry, and how all of this can open a doorway to contact with the other side.
