"The Plan" of the New Age

I first found Constance Cumbey while doing research on the New Age Movement. One of her speaking engagements in which she was discussing her research, was taped and placed on YouTube. I recently purchased her book, and man is it ever an eye-opener! Even my husband read it cover to cover. I'm not finished reading it yet, but I did want to share some of the stuff she wrote.

Before I do that, I wanted to share something my husband said about the end of her book. Although she professes to be a Christian, she claims that there are many ways to heaven. My husband felt this section of the discredits her work. He even felt that she was a spokesman of sorts for the New Age Movement, but I don't feel the same way.

Constance Cumbey has far more courage than I do. While she was conducting her research, she has bought and read books by popular Theosophists Madame Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, and David Spangler. I won't touch those books! I'll read the excerpts people place in their sites or within research books, but I think there is something dark that draws you into that type of reading. People may think they aren't being affected by it, but I think they're being fooled.

The Plan
From a series of sources, Constance compiled these occurrences. Let me mention that she wrote her book in 1983, and we can already see signs of these happening:

1. The reorganization of the world religions
2. The gradual dissolution of the orthodox Jewish and Christian faith
3. Preparation for a revelation which will inaugurate the new era and set the note for the new world religion.
4. Disarmament
5. A worldwide economic collapse that will bring about an universal monetary exchange
6. Regulated utilities and resources (iron, steel, oil, and wheat)
7. Universal Tax
8. Universal credit system
9. World food authority
10. Everyone will have to take an "initiation"

The Initiation
David Spangler, who is the Secretariat for the Planetary Initiative, says that in order to enter the New Age, everyone must take a Luciferic initiation. Evidence of the initiation will be a mark, and we all know where that will be. Constance says that the Masonic Lodges will be used for this purpose. The movement teaches that man is saved by initiation and it is the core of the one world religion.

Bailey's explanation of a destructive force that brings on a crisis and lead to the Initiation of the race into the "mysteries of the ages" is Scriptural. It's called "Mystery Babylon the great the mother of harlots and the abominations of the earth" (Rev.17). All who refuse the Initiation into the New Age will be judged unfit to enter this self-made millennium. They will be cleansed and purified. How? By death. Just as Revelation reveals, the false Christ overcame the saints by killing them (Rev.13:7-8). But the saints actually overcome him "by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives unto death" (Rev.12:11). Jesus said "you can kill the body but not he soul."(Source)

Benjamin Creme and Maitreya
"When Benjamin Creme, spokesman for the Maitreya the Christ spoke in Detroit in Nov. 4 1981, he was asked if he had ever met the Christ. His answer was revealing. He said, "No, I've never met the Christ, but I've met the human body he is inhabiting several times - but never as the Christ."

This reveals the real nature of the antichrist and the power behind the New Age Movement in general. It constitutes nothing less than old-fashioned demonic possession. The person who will eventually be the antichrist and consequently the chief spokesman for Satan will be an adult who freely and voluntarily decided to assume the spirit of Satan." Constance Cumbey
