Please pass the 'Pink Slime'

The USDA approved the safety of pink slime with the strong arm encouragement of former USDA undersecretary Jo Ann Smith, who was appointed by Bush in 1989 after previously serving as president of the National and Floridian Cattlemen's Association. Zirnstein claims, scientists in D.C. were pressured to approve pink slime with minimal safety approval, and insists the FSIS ignored findings that it is a "high-risk product."[1]

This could be true, or an attempt to bring down the beef industry. One of the objectives of the U.N. environmental plan is to make us all vegetarian, as indicated in Jeremy Rifkin's books. It's difficult to determine what is true any more.

Anti-foaming agent found in Chicken McNuggets

(NaturalNews) Ever wonder what's really found in Chicken McNuggets? Some of the ingredients, it turns out, seem to belong more to an industrial factory of some kind, not a food retailer. According to the McDonald's Corporation, its famous Chicken McNuggets are made with ingredients including autolyzed yeast extract (which contain free glutamate, similar to MSG), sodium phosphates and sodium aluminum phosphate. But that's not the freaky part. According to McDonald's own website, Chicken McNuggets are also made with "hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness" and "Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent." (http://nutrition.mcdonalds.com/nutr...)

At least two of these ingredients are artificially synthesized industrial chemicals. TBHQ, a petroleum derivative, is used as a stabilizer in perfumes, resins, varnishes and oil field chemicals. Laboratory studies have linked it to stomach tumors. "At higher doses, it has some negative health effects on lab animals, such as producing precursors to stomach tumors and damage to DNA. A number of studies have shown that prolonged exposure to high doses of TBHQ may be carcinogenic, especially for stomach tumors." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TBHQ) (Read more)

Genetically Engineered Rice

Rice is something we eat a lot of in the Martin household. We love Asian food, so it has become a part of our diet. When I learned that white rice is one of the foods researchers are experimenting with, I tried to locate a list of companies selling it. I didn't come up with a list, but Mahatma rice is one company selling genetically engineered rice. This is the company that sells rice cheap at the military commissary where I shop, and the rice I've been buying for several years.

Greenpeace, the environmental organization leading the way to protect the earth, has exposed companies researching, growing, and selling genetically modified foods. Although they have some good causes, their goals fall in line with UN falsehoods, such as global warming and removing nuclear power.

 Greenpeace in China

The following news stories are two ways they have exposed GMOs in the past.
  • Illegal GM rice found in baby food and rice noodles - Genetically engineered rice is still in the research phases in China, and has not yet been approved for commercial planting. Thus, it is illegal for food producers to use GE rice in their products. But, Greenpeace found that a rice formula made by Yili, one of China’s leading dairy companies, contained the illegal genetically engineered rice line Bt63. Nursoy, a soy-based formula made by Wyeth (parent company Pfizer), tested positive for GE soy. This formula is sold in China.
  • Unauthorized U.S. genetically engineered rice found in Beijing - This 2007 article reports that Mahatma Extra Long Grain Enriched Rice contained a herbicide resistant GE rice. GE rice LL601, a product of the U.S. company Bayer, was approved for commercial growing in 2006, after it was found to contaminate U.S. rice products. Currently, the U.S. is the only country that allows commercial growing and sale of GE rice. GE rice LL601 has contaminated U.S. food exports to at least 32 countries, including China, where GE rice LL601 has not been approved for import (2).
The following link is provided to research how Greenpeace has documented the contamination of rice.

Monsanto's Former Head of Research Teams up with Bill and Melinda

(FoodConsumer) The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has approved $20 million in new monies toward the development of "golden rice" -- an untested, highly controversial GE (genetically engineered) crop that threatens biodiversity and risks bringing economic and ecological disaster to Asia's farms.

The difference between Golden Rice (right) and traditional rice.
The leader of the Golden Rice project is Gerald Barry, previously director of research at Monsanto.
Sarojeni V. Rengam, executive director of Pesticide Action Network Asia and the Pacific (PAN AP), has called the rice a "Trojan horse." According to Rengam, the rice is "... a public relations stunt pulled by the agri-business corporations to garner acceptance of GE crops and food. The whole idea of GE seeds is to make money."
Food Freedom reports:
"Golden rice is a Trojan horse for pushing through GE-friendly biosafety regulations under the guise of humanitarian aid. Once in place, these regulations open the door for the biotech industry to bring in commercial, patented GE crops; USAID and Monsanto accomplished exactly this in Kenya with their sweet potato project." Genetically Modified Cows Produce 'Human' Milk

Scientists have created genetically modified cattle that produce "human" milk in a bid to make cows' milk more nutritious.

(The Telegraph) The scientists have successfully introduced human genes into 300 dairy cows to produce milk with the same properties as human breast milk.

Human milk contains high quantities of key nutrients that can help to boost the immune system of babies and reduce the risk of infections.

The scientists behind the research believe milk from herds of genetically modified cows could provide an alternative to human breast milk and formula milk for babies, which is often criticized as being an inferior substitute.

They hope genetically modified dairy products from herds of similar cows could be sold in supermarkets. The research has the backing of a major biotechnology company.

The work is likely to inflame opposition to GM foods. Critics of the technology and animal welfare groups reacted angrily to the research, questioning the safety of milk from genetically modified animals and its effect on the cattle's health.

But Professor Ning Li, the scientist who led the research, and director of the State Key Laboratories for AgroBiotechnology at the Chin Agricultural University, insisted that the GM milk would be as safe to drink as milk from ordinary cows. (Read more)

Pro-life Watch Dog Group Says Senomyx Uses Cells from Abortions to Test Their Product

After pouring a total of 30 million dollars into research and development, the companies that have invested into Senomyx's products have been secretive about their involvement within the company. Some, like Kraft, have declined to divulge any specifics regarding their relationship with Senomyx, but instead stated that Kraft was committed "to reducing the sugar and salt levels in many products."

A relatively young company, Senomyx, is responsible for the sodium and sugar levels falling in your favorite grocery store item. How are they doing this without affecting the taste? They may be putting this chemical into your food without telling you. [1]

Senomyx masks bitter flavors by turning off bitter flavor receptors on the tongue and enhancing salty and sweet flavors. This would allow the companies to tout claims such as "less sugar" or "lower sodium" by reducing the actual sugar and/or salt by approximately half, but the foods will retain the same level of sweetness or saltiness when they touch the tongue by fooling your brain.[2]

Since Senomyx's flavor compounds will be used in small proportions, the company is able to bypass the lengthy F.D.A. approval process required to get food additives on the market. Getting the Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association status of generally recognized as safe, it took Senomyx less than 18 months, including a 3-month safety study using rats. In contrast, the maker of the artificial sweetener Sucralose spent 11 years winning F.D.A. approval, and is required to list the ingredient on food labels.

Kraft, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Campbell Soup and Solae have contracted with the biotechnology company Senomyx, for exclusive rights to use the ingredients in certain types of food and beverages. [3

The Children of God for Life claims that Senomyx is using HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to assist in producing this chemical that will turn off receptors. This pro-life watch dog group that has been monitoring the use of aborted fetal material in medical products and cosmetics for years. The watch dog group is calling on the public to boycott products of major food companies that are partnering with Senomyx, unless the company stops using aborted fetal cell lines to test their products.

The spokesman for Children of God for Life stated, “They could have easily chosen COS (monkey) cells, Chinese Hamster Ovary cells, insect cells or other morally obtained human cells expressing the G protein for taste receptors,” Vinnedge added.

In writing to their collaborators, Nestlé finally admitted the truth about their relationship with Senomyx, noting the cell line was “well established in scientific research".[4]

Since a pro-life group announced that a biotech firm, Senomyx, is using aborted fetal cell lines to test their artificial flavor enhancers, two companies have announced they have disaffiliated with the firm. Within hours of its press statement to LifeNews.com, the pro-life group received notice from Campbell Soup has severed its ties with Senomyx. Solae, LLC, indicates it, too, has severed its ties with the controversial biotech firm. [5]

Pope Divided No More: Vatican Secretly OKs GMOs

Another leaked report reveals the truth about the Vatican's real stance on genetically-modified organisms, as though we didn't already know.

"The greatest contribution of the WikiLeaks cable, however, lies in its dismantling of the Vatican’s position of neutrality. Prior to the revelations, the Holy See has tried to appear neutral by remaining silent on the issue or distancing itself when scientists from the Pontifical Academy of Sciences endorsed GMOs. All contrary PR campaigns by the Vatican aside, we now know where the Vatican stands on GMOs." GMO Journal

UK's Chief Scientist: Genetically Modified Crops 'Key to Human Survival'

Sir John Beddington, Chief Scientific Adviser to the UK Government
(The Observer, UK) GM crops alone would not be sufficient to hold off widespread starvation, he added. No single approach would guarantee food security for humanity for the rest of the century. A widespread approach, including the development of proper sustainability, protecting fish stocks and changes to patterns of consumption, was also critical, he said. "This report was set up to find out if we can feed nine billion people sustainably, healthily and equitably. We can, but it will take many different approaches to crack the problem."

Timing was crucial. "In 2008 food prices rocketed to their highest level for decades. People said it was just a one-off, but last year what happened? Wheat prices saw their fastest ever increase. The era of declining food prices is over and we have to face that," he added.

Almost a billion people now suffer serious food shortages and face starvation. "It is unimaginable that in the next 10 to 20 years that there will not be a worsening of that problem unless we take action now, and we have to include the widest possible range of solutions." [Full Story]

 Dangers of genetically engineered foods
  • Scientists can choose which genes to manipulate, but they don't yet know where in the DNA to precisely insert these genes and they have no way of controlling gene expression. Genes don't work in isolation, changing a few could change the whole picture, with unpredictable and different effects under different circumstances.
  • It is not correct to tout genetically modified food without evaluating the risks sufficiently. Or at least proving conclusively that there are no risks.
  • Many GM companies don't label their foods as being GM foods. There is concern about a GM bias affecting business. But not labeling is wrong and unfair to the consumers who should have the right to know what they are buying and indeed to decide whether they want to buy GM food or not. Even if health safety factors are not an issue, some people might have moral or religious objections. They should not have to eat GM food if they don't want to.
  • GM food will end food diversity if everyone starts growing the same standardized crops.
  • Herbicide-resistant and pesticide-resistant crops could give rise to super-weeds and super-pests that would need newer, stronger chemicals to destroy them.
  • GM crops could cross-pollinate with nearby non-GM plants and create ecological problems. If this were to happen with GM foods containing vaccines, antibiotics, contraceptives and so on, it would very well turn into a human health nightmare.
  • The claim of ending world hunger with GM food is a false claim. World hunger is not caused by shortage of food production, but by sheer mismanagement, and lack of access to food brought about by various social, financial and political causes.
  • The GM technology companies patent their crops and also engineer crops so that harvested grain germs are incapable of developing. This is not empowering to impoverished Third World farmers, who cannot save seeds for replanting and have to buy expensive seeds from the companies every time. The new technology also interferes with their traditional agricultural ways which may be more suited to their conditions. [2]
The United Nations projects that the human population will increase from the current 6.8 billion to between 8 billion and 10.5 billion in 2050.[3]The conclusions of the report titled Return of the Population Growth Factor: Its Impact upon the Millennium Development Goals, was that “the MDGs are difficult or impossible to achieve with the current levels of population growth in the least developed countries and regions.”[4] The message written by the occult hierarchy on the Georgia Guidestones states that the population should be maintained at 500 million. [5][6]The Earth Charter’s seventh principle calls for “responsible reproduction.” In order to reduce the population by this much, countries will have to implement a program like China's - enforcing to abort babies if they have more than one child. Adopting GMOs will reduce the population more quickly.

    The Dangers of Aspartame

    (YouTube link)

    • The FDA has received more complaints about adverse reactions to aspartame than any other food ingredient in the agency’s history.
    • There are over 90 registered side effects to this food supplement (42 are listed below).
    • Aspartame is the combination of two amino acids (phenylalanine and aspartic acid) and methanol.
    • These products are especially dangerous when heated.
    • Did you know some toothpastes even have Nutrasweet® in them? Protect yourself, read labels.
    • Aspartame is 200 times sweeter than sugar, seems to stimulate the appetite.
    • There are over 5000 products containing aspartame as of 1995, the time the World Environmental Conference and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation met about aspartame and neurological symptoms.
    • As of 1994, 6,888 cases of adverse reactions had been reported to the FDA and included 75% of all non-drug complaints. [1]
Aspartame is a molecule composed of three ingredients, aspartic acid, 40% (an excitotoxin as an isolate, product that stimulates the neurons of the brain to death causing brain damage), a methyl ester that immediately converts to methyl alcohol, (10%) then breaks down to formaldehyde and formic acid (ant sting poison), and 50% phenylalanine, as an isolate a neurotoxin that lowers the seizure threshold and depletes serotonin triggering psychiatric and behavioral problems. The molecule breaks down to a witch’s brew of toxins including diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent that triggered brain tumors in original studies. This methanol production is hastened with heat. [2]

You may ask how a product like Aspartame and Equal would be permitted to remain on the market. You'll understand this once you learn the details about the NutraSweet company.

    According to Wikipedia:
The NutraSweet Company makes and sells Nutrasweet, their trademarked brand name for the artificial sweetener aspartame, and Neotame. Aspartame was discovered in 1965 by James M. Schlatter, a chemist working for G.D. Searle and Company. Aspartame has gained regulatory approvals, after applying for fifteen years, permitting its sale in more than 100 countries. Despite losing market share in recent years to sucralose, the NutraSweet Company states that its product is used in more than 5,000 products and consumed by some 250 million people worldwide.
Robert B. Shapiro was Chairman and CEO of the Nutrasweet Company from 1982 to 1990. In March 2000, Monsanto, which was then a subsidiary of the Pharmacia private equity firm, sold NutraSweet to the private equity firm of J.W. Childs. This firm is known for hostile takeovers.
Based upon the public information provided, we know that:
    1. Pharmacia, the private equity firm that owns Monsanto and NutraSweet. The Greek word for "sorceries" is pharmacia. Some refer to pharmacia as "sorcery disguised as medicine."
    2. The spiral symbol used by NutraSweet is a commonly known occult symbol. [3]
    3. Monsanto is the leading producer of genetically engineered (GE) seed, responsible for the Terminator seed, the producer of Roundup, and will be responsible for the future environmental nightmare.[4]
    4. It is likely that J.W. Childs was interested in NutraSweet purely for the money, and it is likely that he has ties to the Illuminati.

In July 2005, the most impeccable study ever done on aspartame (Ramazzini) confirmed what the FDA knew a quarter of a century ago, that aspartame is a multi-potential carcinogen triggering leukemia, lymphoma, kidney cancer and cancer of the peripheral nerves, especially the cranial nerves. Only the rats fed aspartame developed malignant brain tumors. Originally the FDA revoked the petition for approval because it could not be proven to be safe and triggered brain tumors. It also triggered mammary, uterine, ovarian, testicular, thyroid and pancreatic tumors. Unfortunately, once aspartame was approved no drug on the market could be considered safe because aspartame interacts with all drugs and vaccines. [5]

**Aspartame is an abortifacient and a teratogen. It also stimulates prolactin. It is an endocrine disrupting chemical. It changes the menses triggering infertility. Then if the consumer is off aspartame and gets pregnant she may lose the baby if she gets back.[6

When we get people off the aspartame, those with systemic lupus usually become asymptomatic.[7]

    In Steps Neotame
    According to FarmWars.info:

NutraSweet, a former Monsanto asset, has developed a new and improved version of this neurotoxin called Neotame.
Neotame has similar structure to aspartame — except that, from it’s structure, appears to be even more toxic than aspartame. This potential increase in toxicity will make up for the fact that less will be used in diet drinks. Like aspartame, some of the concerns include gradual neurotoxic and immunotoxic damage from the combination of the formaldehyde metabolite (which is toxic at extremely low doses) and the excitotoxic amino acid. (Holisticmed.com)
But surely, this product would be labeled! NOT SO!!! For this little gem, no labeling required. And it is even included in USDA Certified Organic food.

The food labeling requirements required for aspartame have now been dropped for Neotame, and no one is clear why this was allowed to happen. Neotame has been ruled acceptable, and without being included on the list of ingredients, for:
    • USDA Certified Organic food items.
    • Certified Kosher products with the official letter k inside the circle on labels. (Janet Hull)
Let me make this perfectly clear. Neotame does not have to be included in ANY list of ingredients! So, if you buy processed food, whether USDA Certified Organic or not, that food most likely will contain Neotame because it is cost-effective, and since no one knows it is there, there is no public backlash similar to what is happening with Aspartame. A win/win situation!

But that’s not all. Just love chowing down on that delicious steak? Well, that cow most likely will have been fed with feed containing…..you guessed it…..Neotame! A product called “Sweetos,” which is actually composed of Neotame, is being substituted for molasses in animal feed.
“Sweetos is an economical substitute for molasses. Sweetos guarantees the masking of unpleasant tastes and odor and improves the palatability of feed. This product will be economical for farmers and manufacturers of cattle feed. It can also be used in mineral mixture,” said Craig Petray, CEO, The NutraSweet Company, a division of Searle, which is a part of Monsanto. (Bungalow Bill)
Why would we feed animals food that is so distasteful that we would have to mask the unpleasantness with an artificial sweetener? Most animals will not eat spoiled, rancid feed. They know by the smell that it is not good. Enter Sweetos (Neotame). Just cover up the unpleasant tastes and odors, and you can feed them anything you want to, courtesy of the oh, so considerate folks at Monsanto and company.

But of course, Monsanto is no longer associated with NutraSweet. In the time-honored tradition of covering its assets, Monsanto has a proven track record of spinning off controversial portions of its company that generate too much scrutiny, such as it did with the Solutia solution.
Says the Farm Industry News, “Monsanto, which has long resided in the crosshairs of public scorn and scrutiny, appears to have dodged at least one bullet by spinning off its industrial chemical business into a separate entity called Solutia a couple of years ago. Solutia has since been hammered by lawsuits regarding PCB contamination from what were once called Monsanto chemical plants in Alabama and other states” (Source Watch)
So what is the solution to this problem? Buy local organic food, know your local farmer, and don’t buy processed foods whether they are labeled “Organic” or not. This requires a drastic change in lifestyle that most will not want to make. For those who choose to ride the wheel of chance by succumbing to this genocidal adulteration of our food supply by those who stand to profit from our sickness and early demise, my only comment is….it is your choice. But for those of us who have decided to fight this battle one bite at a time by hitting these sociopaths in the pocketbook where it hurts……viva la revolucion!

    Aspartame

    (Google Video)

Donald Rumsfeld is known throughout the world as the zealous U.S. Secretary of Defense who is waging a global "war on terror" in search of "terrorists" and "weapons of mass destruction." Most people, however, are not aware that Rumsfeld himself unleashed a chemical weapon of mass destruction upon the world in 1981-and it,s still out there destroying people all over the world. That "WMD" is aspartame and it has been scientifically and anecdotally linked to millions of chronic illnesses and deaths. (Read more)
